Autumn Hunnicutt

Autumn Hunnicutt is a visual artist and oil painter from Raton, New Mexico. Her paintings explore interconnection, cycles, memory, familial mythologies, and symbolism found in nature. Having grown up in the high deserts of northern New Mexico, she finds inspiration in her southwestern roots and spirituality evoked from the culture. She has mainly shown work in the Southwest and on the West Coast, and in several online exhibitions, including the Greg Moon Gallery in Taos, NM and The Studio Door Gallery in San Diego, CA. Traveling to live paint and showcase work at music events around the US has become an important influence and aspect of her career within the last several years. Autumn received a bachelor of fine arts degree from New Mexico State University in 2018 and is currently a master of fine arts candidate at Washington State University where she teaches drawing.
