Artist Statement:
"Dis-Embody" is a series featuring elements of 1950s Lifetime Magazine advertisements with the women’s forms with reversed silhouettes in colorful but barren, manufactured landscapes. Each of these collages was mailed to a fellow woman artist across the globe, to break open and celebrate the new shapes and roles we create together.
