Jeffrey Gray

Jeffrey Gray's poetry has appeared in The Atlantic, Yale Review, Triquarterly, Fjords, American Poetry Review, Lana Turner, and other journals. He is the author of Mastery's End: Travel and Postwar American Poetry and of many articles on American and Latin American poetry in journals such as Callaloo, Contemporary Literature, Chronicle of Higher Education, Profession, and others. He is also the English translator of Rodrigo Rey Rosa's The African Shore, and Chaos, a Fable, and editor or co-editor of several anthologies, including The Greenwood Encyclopedia of American Poets and Poetry, and the Companion to American Poetry. He is a professor at Seton Hall University. He lives in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, and Alghero, Sardinia.
